brake question!
last night i replaced rotors and pads on my girlfriends 97 mrercedes c230. theoriginal pads werent making a sound i just knew that they needed to be replaced. after taking the tires off i realized the rotors were shot not warped just worn. so i went back to autozone got some rotors. pulled the old rotors... put new ones on then when i put the caliper braket back on i realized that the pads were a little loose for the spots that they fit.where as the factory pads fit snug anyways put everything back together now out of the driverside i hear a slight tick as i decell at stop signs. i double checked all the bolts to make sure they were tight. sound almost like somthing is on one spot of the rotor and as it passes the caliper it makes a tick so when u are stopping u hear tick tick tick tick until u are completely stopped

Dude why did you replace pads and rotors with non-OEM stuff? Most likely if the noise doesn't go away you might have to shim them. Did the OEM ones have shims? Did you transfer them over?
As Bass stated you might have to drive them for a bit but I don't they will be any good. I did the same thing one time and had to replace the pads with OEM ones so they worked better.
