Default Boston People I have a question...

Im going on a business trip to Boston and I wanted to know what there is to do in Boston? I know its very historic and all, but I dont really see it as a place where there are fun things??? Please help, I fly out in a few days. Give me hot spots for young people.

Thanks

well, Boston Creme Pie is nice. Especially when New Yorkers don't have to pay for it.

What are you into; clubs, restaurants, shopping, art, history, cars, or architecture? Boston has tons to do, certainly more than Reston (I use to live there from 3-10 years old), and just hanging out on Newbury St. is great. North End for food, and Lansdowne St. at night for clubs

Exactely the way i wouldve put it.
When i go to Boston, those are the 3 areas i always check out...
1-Newberry
2-Northend (lil-italy,quincy market etc)
3- Landsdown (and sometimes Boyleston st for pre-club lounge) for clubs and nightlife!

Yup, that someone is right - Boston has just a bunch of old, run-down buildings occupied by old-fart residents; we have no young people here in the city. VA is much more exciting...

Can you say the same thing about NYC?

Boston is a smaller scale of NYC.

Have you been here yet?

Let me know where you are staying... and I'll tell you where you can go.

Landsdown Street. One whole street of bars and night clubs. With the back drop of Fenway Park.

Boylston Street in the Back Bay... Bars and Restaurants galore!

Boylston Street towards Boston City Park... Bars and Clubs

Theater District... even more bars and clubs

Fanueil Hall... Bars and clubs every other block!

Yeah... Boston is just an old historic city... but with one of the largest concentration of college students! And yes... they are all here to become history majors And I thought I went to school here to drink!

Not that it matters... but I went to school here to become an Architect... perfect city for this... but... to pay for my bills while in school... I was a Nightclub DJ/Nightclub Promoter. So there is definitly something in this city to do.

Just my two cents.
