I had it happen once or twice. From then on,I made shure the lever was at the full end of its travel for all gates. Since then, no problems.

Yeah, Bill, that's what I do now, it's just a little unnerving when it happens, sounds like the tranny drops out of the bottom of the car.

mine fuel filler cap bind up as well. I have bought a new fuel filler cap from honda and the issue hasn't been resolved yet. grrr

You can keep buying them until you die and it will never fix the problem. The problem HAS been resolved too. You are replacing the wrong part.

Problem resolved by replacing the filler pipe under extended warrentee (3 days left on contract).
