How would I get the information associated with those TSB's? I found one that may apply to me - does anyone else experience the transmission popping out of second gear??
I've had an issue with it occasionally popping out of 1st gear, but it may have just been
me not making sure it was fully in 1st gear before releasing the clutch.

This is a known problem with the 02s. Mine does the same.

Good luck getting it done on the house unless you already spend hundreds to thousands at that dealer. Otherwise paying out of pocket for the filler neck will fix you up.

Myself, I just grab by the outside of the cap.

Yup. I got that trick from you and it works great.

I think I saw a TSB for 1st gear too. Many of the transmission related TSB's were centered around MY's 2004-2005. It may not be your fault.

Thanks Ryan, I went to the site mentioned above and there is a TSB
for the '05 popping out of 2nd gear but not 1st.

It doesn't happen that often so I won't worry about it for now. I just did
a tranny fluid change last weekend and the fluid didn't have any filings
or look bad so the times that it has happened apparently hasn't done
anything to the transmission.

It happens to me in second when I'm going slow - just rolling and I don't feel like 1st is needed. Let the clutch out and BANG!!! First time scared the everliving 5hit out of me.
