Default Binding Fuel Filler Cap

My 2002 Suzuka Blue S2000 has a fuel filler cap that binds before it is fully seated. I have to turn it by the outter circumference to fully close. I tried the cap on another S2000, and it was silky smooth. So it must be the filler pipe? I looked up a TSB 04002, but don't have the text on this issue. Anyone have any information. Thanks,
Elliot

Let me know what you find out. I've had the same problem for years. I don't know if the dealers charge for this fix if the car is outside of warranty.

How would I get the information associated with those TSB's? I found one that may apply to me - does anyone else experience the transmission popping out of second gear??

they used to have a great listing of all the tsbs on this site BUT it does not look like it's been updated since 2002

best bet would be to call AHC and ask them to send you a copy or just to to any dealership and ask them for a copy

sorry buddy

I did a little research myself without much luck. I'll call cardinal tomorrow. I'm glad to know me popping out of 2nd gear isn't me being an idiot and not putting the car all the way in gear.
