Default best place to buy home appliances

just wondering where you guys and girls tend to buy home appliances. Do you buy online or at the store. What stores tend to offer better deals, lowes, hd, sears, etc. I have to buy a stove, fridge, Washer/dryer, microwave, and dishwasher. Do some stores give better discounts if you buy all in one place or should i just focus on shopping around for the lowest pricing. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks

i like home depot and i really like slickdeals.net when buying anything like that

http://slickdeals.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9

the slick deals website will show you the best prices on anything

you can always get 10% off coupons for lowes and home depot and you can talk them down if you are buying a LOT of stuff

i know Lainey has a place that she likes when she did her kitchen

one other thing to keep in mind - the new federal program Cash for appliances. you'll get a rebate on just about everything you buy as long as it's an energystar

I do have a place I buy appliances but it's out of the way for you.

I'd suggest if you have any local merchants, you don't rule them out thinking the bix box stores always have a better price.

I like buying local, free delivery and great customer service and repairs available too!

If you can, ask the builder who he suggests. Maybe he has someone who is willing to make a deal for several appliances.

i'll also give a thumbs up for HD. i bought a stove, fridge, and front-loading washer/dryer all at the same time and got a decent discount. add in a 10% coupon (sign up online on their website that you're moving and they send you one), and interest free financing on the Home Depot card, and it's a decent deal in my opinion.

Local Mom and Pop shops. I'd rather support the local businesses that help bear some of my tax burden than the big box stores.

Sears has a 25% off energystar appliances for the next week. Add that to Bing Cashback and you have a decent deal.
