Definately a good one, Although the controversy revolving around Tom Cruise "scientology drug use etc" may hurt the movies appeal in the long run

Yeah, I dont really like him in real life. The movie was shot on my ship USS Enterprise (CVN-65). I got there a long time after the movie was filmed, but there were some people who had been on board when it was and they said he was a flaming a-hole.

Still a great flick! I am a sucker for good Navy films.

great soundtrack too!!!

I used to have the video game for the original Nintendo

Wasnt it! The cinematography was outstanding. Many many years ahead of its time!

Im thankful for that thread in vintage tipping us off to the airing date, it would have been a shame to miss it.
