Yamaha motor in the Elise? V-8 S-4 doesn't cut it? You can get a 2003 or newer M5 for under 40K?
Where did you come from, the Corvette boards?

As for the V8 S4...my 1.&T A4 can handle it. The older V6 turbo or even the old 5 cyl turbo Audi S cars are cooler.
I was finding 2001's for about 29k as far as M5's go. I'm not sure about 2003 and newer.
I wish I had a vette but no....I did come from the Audi boards

M3 is not 4 door
you can't 2003+ M5 for less than 40K. at least one that you would consider reliable

PS----wish they brought back a 4D M3

I'm not sure if I like the idea of a 4D M3... the styling of a M3 coupe is just right to me. then again, i'm biased
but there is a M5 saloon coming out in Europe... has no bearing in this whole conversation or thread but what does at this point
