OK....so, what about these models
Acura TL-S (help confirm badass status)
Mazdaspeed 6 (help confirm badass status)
Mazdaspeed3
IS350

I'm thinking the TL and Spee6 are not Badass.

I think the Mazdaspeed3 is badass.

I'm having a had time with the IS350. IS-F is badass, but the 350?

Meh, no newer Toyotas are badass. Even Lexus. Give the 350 and the F(500) a stick and a way to defeat all the electrical nanny's that sap any kind of fun and I'd say otherwise. But as it stands, Lexus are just too elegant and luxurious. Very nice cars, wouldn't mind owning one someday but...

Now the Supra? That's a different story.

How about the SRT-4 Caliber? 300hp, 260 ft/lb, nimble chassis (also the chassis for the new EVO X btw)

Might be a contender?

Ok,

This is a car club...lets talk cars. I'm forming a list composed of badass cars priced up to $40,000, new or used, currently on the market. When I say used I mean no older than MY 2003. If it is 2003....it has to be really badass.

Help me add to this list.

4 Door:
MB C55
Evo
STi
Audi S4
Caddy CTS-V
BMW 335i
Jag S-type R '04
Mazdaspeed3
IS350
300C SRT-8
Cherokee SRT-8

2 Door
S2000
G35 Coupe
Corvette
Elise
GTO
Ford F-150 SVT Lightning
Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10
BMW M3

Nice, but not Badass:
RX-8
G35 Sedan '07
Acura TL-S
Mazdaspeed 6
S2000
I think that list needs some overhaulin

Toyota Supra low miles mint shape..... (used)

Last gen RX-7 (used)

I can't believe a used Acura NSX is not on that list.....

E55 AMG (used)

Buik Grand National GNX in nice shape light miles...... for the american muscle guys. (used, this is a collectors car for that crowd, not talking barret jackson 100K plus but 40K all day long and going up!))

Grand Cherokee SRT/8 (new) -this trusk is a monster-

2000 Porsche 911 (Aero cabrio) (used)

Volvo Type R Wagon (I am starting a family and for some reason I just like this wagon....)

Just a few pics of the top of the head.... cars that when I see on the road I notice, in the 40K used range...some much under. When you see someone in the above cars they most likely (not always) bought this car for a reason and didn't buy it by mistake.....
