Bad week in computer world
Well the new computer won out FOR NOW, over "S" pods. I totally crashed my home computer last night.
It was old, and but doing OK, and I was quite happy with the DSL at home. I decided to download Norton Anti Virus, and WHAM, when it rebooted, no more windows.
Could have had it fixed, maybe updated, but didn't make any sense to spend $ on a six year old computer.
Hope Santa brings Rick those "S" pods now that I bought a new computer, otherwise Legal Bill may have to help out with divorce papers.
PS to Glen. I sent you an email, not sure if you got, it, but if you did, and that's why I can post again, thank you!

Sorry bout your computer Lainey.
I had an old one too and a new one. The kids used the older one for homework and they were hooked up to the internet via wireless network and cable modem. I downloaded Windows XP SP2, the new service pack, with all the latest and greatest security patches. The old computer crashed and I even sent it out to professional geeks and they couldn't save it. The newer computer everything was fine.
It has to have something to do with upgrading older computer s with newer technology and pushing their abilites off the proverbial cliff I guess. 'Cest la vie we are a one computer family for now.
Enjoy the new computer it'll be a speed burner compared to what you were used to.

Too bad you don't live any closer. I am sure we could of brought it back to life If you are using the PC for Web browsing and maybe some word processing then that computer you had should be sufficient.
Did you just try restoring the OS?
Do you have all the setup disks?
What type of PC is it?
Got the specs? Mhz, Ram, HD size
Come on I am trying to save you some $$$ for S-pods. Ok so I want S-pods too and was thinking of a NE Group Buy!!!
