The annual "Ferrari concourso" event to benefit the local childrens hospital is being held in Downtown Hartford CT (CAPITAL AVE) in Bushnell park tommorrow sunday June 20th from 11am to 5pm. The cars usually get there at approx 10am or so and gather up for a lap around downtown with a few of the childrens hospital kids before they settle on the lawn in Bushnell park for the show at approx 11am. This is a rain or shine event, and the weather looks great for tommorrow. I understand (and almost forgot) that tommorrow is fathers day, but if you have nothing to do in the afternoon its a great thing to see 100 or more or so beutiful exotic-cars parked all together. And how often does that happen? Last year it was a wash out, but my friend said that a yellow Enzo and quite a few others still showed-up in the pouring rain! So this years turn-out should be good. I last went myself in 2002, and it was amazing to see. One of David Lettermens Dino ferrari's was on display too, as well as 2 F40's, a F50, numerous 360's, etc etc. It should be a great turn-out! I hope to see the F2003- or F2004 on display too.(Formula one car)
Im having breakfast at approx 9.30 with a few friends at my buddies local coffee-shop in West-hartford, then heading down. Anyone care to join us PM me, and i can PM my cell number back. Looking forward to this, as i wont be seeing a ferrari anytime soon or ever in my own driveway.
