if you are coming from north or east of RI we can meet up. Here's the spot take 95south to exit 7 take right at the end of the ramp and take your first left, it's right there.I figure at 11:00 it will take about a half an hour to get there from hear

If I do go (need to make sure I can get what I need to do around the house on Sat. before leaving for nyc, and then I need to get upon Sunday), I would probably take 84 east to Hartford.

I think I'd like to get there by noon, so I'd probably leave the Hartford area around 10:30am - 11am.
If you go, I could meet you at exit 41 on Rt 84. If you get off at exit 41 (right-hand exit - South Main St, West Hartford), at the end of the ramp, take a right and immediately on your right is a large office building. Take a right into the parking lot and I'll meet you in there.
jcr9: Where do you want to meet?? Somewhere off Rt 2??
Laster: Are you going?? If so, do you want to meet this group?
BTW, if you have the hand-held radios, let's all plan to use channel #2.

sorry guys...but my soccer team was giving me crap when i mentioned that i might not make it to the game on sunday. since i'm the only goalkeeper on the team...i guess i can't screw them over like that. the game won't end until noon...so i'm not gonna be able to make it.

Bert,
Too many things need to fall into place for me. I realized that my daughter is leaving to go back to school sometime in the late morning/early afternoon.
I am sure she would still be asleep if I were to leave to get to Hartford in time.
Sorry, but don't count me in.
Depending on how the rest of the day goes, I may give you a ring on the phone and just meet you guys down there. Sounds like it's a fun event.

Is it too late to join in the fun?
What I would like to do is shoot down and meet up with Bass and Max, then drive with the group to the event, but at the end of the day head north on I-84 and go home that way. Please let me know if this is OK with everyone. That would make for a pretty good day out for me with lots of good time behind the wheel.
