Went for a drive today, first time this year more or less. Whilst getting on the 495 North at exit 43 I managed to spin the car . I was quite surprised... ended up facing the wrong way looking at the front end of a truck. Quite pleased he wasn't close behind me + I didn't hit anything, which was a relief.

I'm not sure exactly what happened. I wasn't pushing it. Doing about 35 in second. I just squeezed the throttle (obviously too hard) to try and get out of the way of someone else who was joining the slip road from the other direction. The back end just came round and it was so unexpected I didn't have time to react. All the rain today didn't help I'm sure. Plus maybe I ought to change the rear tires - gettting down towards the limit.

anyway, s2k is back in the gararge tomorrow, at least until the sun comes out or I can get some new tires...
