My wife's friend was a per diem nurse, set her own schedule and made good money.

Now my wife works in a hospital and they have 'travelling nurses" They come from all over the country, get put up in a nice hotel (a real hotel) and get paid well.

One works 6 months and then takes 6 months off.

What kind of business? My company employs Nurse Case Managers for Work Comp, LTD, & STD.
Just curious.

my girlfriend and mom are nurses.
they can get a job anywhere in the country at any time making very good money.
its a great career if you have kids too because the schedule is so flexible.
the female to male ratio is heavily in your favor

I need to do more research into this and see if it's for me. I will be soon starting some talks with people at the Universities and do some shadowing to see if it's something I would be interested in.

It's a huge career move for me. It's gotta be a good one.

Jim,

If you are serious look into a nurse anesthetist. They make a lot of money and there is so much demand you do not have to work long hours unless you want to.

Jim, is this something that you can start right away like interning or something? Or do you have to go to school for 2years then work in the field? Hope you find your groove buddy.

It's 2 years schooling and some interning stuff as well while in school. I hope to find my groove too.

I gotta look into it a bit more. Hopefully get into a class to see what the stuff is like and also shadow somebody for a day or 2.
