funny cause when I dropped the s2k and got the M3.. insurance stayed the same

Strange . . . when I traded in my Audi TT for my S my insurance went from $1200 to $1700. Of course, when I was your neighbor I was paying $2K to insure my TT. RI just has terrible insurance rates. In fact, I think RI is the 3rd or 4th most expensive state to insure a car in. Whatever ranking RI is MA is right below that making MA 4th or 5th.
