Default The 2007 "Green Mountain Tour"

Having learned a bit more history I don't feel like I should use "S2K Days" as the name for the Vermont Meet in September 2007...

Which got me thinking that I should probably check with the previous organizers of the 2004 Green Mountain Tour before assuming that I could re-use *that* name.

If anyone has an objection to the use of "The 2007 Green Mountain Tour" for the event next year please speak now and I'll rack my brain to come up with something different

There's always "The 2007 Meet in Vermont"

Thanks!

Well, if you promise to attend the meet I *might* be persuaded to put "Bass" in the event name

"The 2007 Green Mountain Bass Tour"

Bring your S and your fishing poll

Bass, Bass, Bass. WTF. Everywhere I turn, it's Bass, Bass, Bass.

I have no issue with you using the name Justin and I came up with. I also want to state that I will more then likely be joining the 2007 GMT this coming year as my order will be placed in March and I should have my new '07 by May. I look forward to seeing you all again, but more imporantantly feeling that wonderful V-tech engine kick in and go!

Thanks Josh! I hope you can attend the event

I am looking for a place to offer autocross for those interested on Sunday... preferably south or west of Burlington to be closer to most folks heading home afterwards.

Mixed with other cars/clubs would be fine since we won't have that many people I don't think. I tried contacting 3 different sports car clubs here in Vermont but not one has written back to me after 2 weeks

Any ideas?!

Ellen, I don't know what you mean by "we won't have that many people." I think we may be pleasantly surprised given that there is going to be ample time for people to make plans and for them to get the word out to everyone.
As for a place to autocross, sorry but I don't have a clue.
Levi
PS I already have taken that weekend off work!

Ah thanks Levi! I hope we have a good turnout but you never know. This is only 3 weeks after the Garden State Gathering.... but for all those who can't make that event, this might be a good option.

Hopefully something will turn up for a Sunday main attraction. I know many people in our group like autocross and now that I have a real helmet I want to give it a try too! I think that like the Nor'Easter we'll also have at least one tour leader willing to take anyone interested on another area drive as an alternative Sunday, plus there are tons of things to do in the area or not too far off.

I'm just hoping my meet doesn't conflict with a track day at NH - it would look bad if I skipped my own meet

You've planned it perfectly to time with a vacation week we generally take in September. I just told our son tonight, that in January we need to give him a schedule of when Grandma won't be around to babysit.

Gotta go to the car meets.

Josh, it will be great to see you again. GTMI was a great meet!
