Brother Honda

When I bought my 2006 I was suprised to see that the red/black interior on the car was different than what was portrayed on the honda web site. The web site shows the red leather extending up through the headrest and the console between the seats is also red. These are black on my car. Since I haven't seen another 2006 with the black/red interior can someone confirm that the web site picture is inacurate? Thanks

Looking at the pictures of the two interiors, I think I actually like the console vinyl trim being black. It breaks up the red a little better. I would also like to add I'm not a big fan of the AP1 red interior which has even MORE red.

Thanks Mikey. That's exactly what my interor looks like. I like it a lot...it just was different than what was on the web site. After what I've been through trying to get this car I wouldn't put anything past a dealership.

I too like the look of the 06' interior but still not feeling the new headrests. With a hemlet won't your head hit with that padding? The older style had the space for a helmet.

Thanks Ben. I've loved the S 2000 from the first year it came out. I was in a car wash and someone was detailing a silverstone and red and that was it. This is the first time that I have the right combination of cars to have a rear wheel drive sports car to enjoy. I know that there are a lot of folks that like the AP1 better but I'm glad that I waited. The restroked engine and VSA compliment the way I plan to use this car. I pick it up tomorrow AM and am lookng forward to the 100 mile drive home.
