Who has the fastest S2K on this forum and how much money did you have to dump into it?
I'd rather go turbo but (search engine) it seems that there aren't any reliable/cost effective kits out yet?
Porsche951: I sold it to a friend out in your neck of the woods. He just sold his '97 Silver Eclipse GS-T w/ HRC Super 16G and such. You'll be seeing it out on the road much more often now! I'll be helping him take the car further. I sold it to him as is at around 450HP. Maybe we can all meet up sometime soon.

What exactly are you getting for $6700. I assume you're talking SC and such, right?
I know performance won't compare to the RX-7 but I'm not concerned with that. I'd just like to see honest power figures/times for a nicely modded S2K.
Thanks.

Hi SilverR2,
I saw your your RX7 up the end of my street Monday or Tuesday didn't I? My other son has a 97 GSX he's looking to modify maybe that new RX7 owner or you could give him some suggestions. Why did you sell the RX7? I thought you had something like $9k invested in that motor.

Demonderrick: I had run a quick search but from the first few posts I read it seemed that the kits were very expensive and there weren't any hard numbers associated. I'll check again, just got lazy.
Porsche951: You probably did see it. The new owner wanted to take it out for some fun! I dropped 9800.00 into the motor and other accessories at Pettit Racing about 3000 miles ago. I had already put about 6,000 into it prior. It was just time to let it go. To get it to where I'd be really happy with it would've cost me another 10~15K.
With the advent of the next gen Supra/RX-7/NSX/etc... I feel its best to be prepared monetarily.
As far as the Eclipse GSX (Red one, right?) we can give you plenty of help. I belonged to CLUBDSM for years when I had my GS-T. Just let me know when he's ready and what he wants to spend. Also, Nick is buying a shop on 104 there in Bridgewater that is to become a full scale performance/tuner shop with plenty of lifts and in-ground dyno. He's your best bet for parts and labor.
Again, I'd be more than happy to help out.
