I lived in Southwest and Northwest. I don't know how it is far from the rest of Vegas. I lived just as close to the strip as the Henderson guys. The Henderson people are just far from the rest of Vegas.

Southern Hills and Rhodes Ranch are also very nice communities.

I used to live near Tropicana and Ft. Apache. Lots of commute and crime there. My friend was walking home one night and he got stabbed and robbed (on Reno Ave).

Number one increase in crime is auto theft. So, look for a garage.
