Default what size tires for oem ap1 16"s?

anyone know how wide i can go in the rear and front? i was thinking of going either 245/45/16 or 255/50/16 in the rear and either 205/50/16 or 215/50/16 for the front. also, anyone know the reason behind honda have the front tires a little bigger in the front? will it be alright if i leave it 50 series all around? if not, i'll just do the 245/45 rears and 50 series up front.

In my entire life I have never heard of a 255 16 inch tire... but to my dismay I just found a couple... problem is they are monster truck tires. A 255/50/16 which you want to run on the rear is like me strapping a chicken to the hood of my car and driving around pretending its not there!!!!

This is what you are suggesting....
1) A 255/50/16 depending on the brand (if you can even find one) has approx a 26 inch diameter

2) A 205/50/16 has an approx diameter of like 24 inches....

Unless you want to look like a tractor driving down the road I wouldnt run that set up!!! (you cant run 50 series "all around" if you want a staggered set up!!! otherwise you will be Tractor status (larger diameter in the rear)

If you must run 16's then you need as follows...

205/55/16 front 225/50/16 rear.... (both tires have a 25 inch diameter)

If you want to go wider in the rear... you need to change the front to match the diameter of the rear..... If you go wider.... you must go SKINNIER SIDEWALL! Otherwise run NON stagger and get 4 of the exact same tire

btw, honda doesnt have the tires bigger in the front!!

but if your to lazy to search all the way... you can run 225/50/16 in the FRONT and 245/45/16 in the rear
