Default Sat July 23th Autocross @ Sam Boyd Stadium 5pmish!

This will be the secon night event of this summer. I heard last night event they got 6 runs! The night events are ran in cooler weather, under the parking lot lights, and in the evening so you don't have to wake up early! Come join the fun and come represent s2ki! Ideally I'll be co-driving/test driving Mikes brand new GPW AP2.

For those that don't know what an autocross is (for those that know what it is ignore this paragraph ) Think about taking a big parking lot and lining it with cones in the form of a race track filled with small straights, tight and wide turns and slaloms and then flying through it Speeds rarely exceed 60-70mph. You'll keep it in 2nd gear through most of your run. It's a cheap, fun, and safe way to explore the limits of your car and a great introduction into motorsports and activities held by the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America www.scca.com)

The next Autocross is July 23th at the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl. This is a night event on Saturday night. Unlike our previous Summer Night Series, this event will be held on a full-size lot!
Gates open at 5:00PM.
Registration and tech till 6:30pm then drivers meeting.
First car out 7pm.
Cost: SCCA member $30 Non-members $40. If it's your first time it'll only be $20 bucks if your bring the flyer below.
Bring this to get 1/2 off if it's your first time...
http://www.lvrscca.org/news/2005/SCCA_flyer.pdf
It has a line that says SCCA Member Sponsor # you can enter in mine (320694) or that of any other SCCA members you know and you will get a coupon for $5 off your next autocross and earn me one also
If you forget the flyer I will have extras with me the day of the event.

If you plan on attending please pre-register as it will make things go much smoother when you get there and save everyone time in getting the event started. Pre-reg closes on July 22th
To pre-register go here:
http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEve...530983689735875

Chances are your s2k falls in either of these 3 classes.
AS: For a stock car to a almost stock car (upgraded exhaust, air filter, shocks, front sway bar, cg-lock, and better tires on stock sized rims allowed anything else bumps you to bsp)
BSP: Basic bolt-on mods (intake, header, springs, etc)
SM2: If you have boost, gears, etc

Directions...
Sam Boyd Stadium Parking Lot
7000 E Russell RD
It's near Boulder Highway and East Russel road.

If you haven't already picked up a CG-Lock talk to JP. If you don't know what the cg-lock is check out the review in this link...

Anythiing that affects boost will bump you to a "modified class".

As Mr. KrazyGlue ( ) said SM will be your class. Have fun.
