thanks guys for the info. i've got way too much money dumped into the Type-S I wouldn't feel right asking for how much I owe. The dealer payoff is way cheaper.

I called two other dealers today, since Shack Findlay hasn't called yet. The way it looks now, if they don't jump on it, I'll be going elsewhere. I like the service there, so I wanted to give them my business. The problem is when I talked to Chyson, he worked out the deal and gave me the car for full retail! I was like, nah, I'm good. Full retail, and then he wouldn't step up to give me another grand for trade in on the Type-S. So I left.

I'll post a couple pics for you, if you know anyone who wants some parts. Thanks!

Right now I'd take any color as I dont have one yet. But, I know ill be posting on here once I do get one bitching about how I should of got a different color lol.

I see that there are several colors of yellow, what is the the major diff. between mine and the others?????

 

Spa yellow is on the 00-03's

Rio Yellow iso n the 04+

Rio is said to be a tad darker yellow and at times you can see more metallic flakes in the paint, I think.

I had my car next to Matt's parents rio s2k tonight at sonic and from a distance at first glance they look the same then as you look more at both of them you see they aren't the same.

If I had to do it all over again, I probably would go white/red or black/red. The yellow is too much of a PITA to match if you need bodywork.....Just look at my car. Red seems to be pretty rare and looks 10x better in person than in pictures. You might consider buying in So Cal, when I lived in Vegas that's what I did. I bought mine back in the day when Shack Findlay wanted 38k and got mine for 33k out the door with cd changer, Ti shifter, and wing. That was a good price back then.
