will be flying into vegas 12/31/10, arrive at 830PM and depart the next morning at 8:30AM, will be up all night. Any suggestions of a must do on new years in vegas? never been there on new years before. Thanks in advance

Lots of things factor in. You will NOT be able to get into any club w/o paying a ridiculous entry fee $80+ You will not be able to get a table for anything less than a grand.

Most locals avoid the strip on new year but if they do go it's generally Fremont street. They have live music cheap beer and if I remember right it was ten bucks admission last year. The strip tends to be a fiasco.

I'm traveling solo! Kinda crazy I know! Be in town for about ten hours then back to the jet plane! Probably do some blackjack and drinking! Maybe debauchery
