I have lived around and about Chicago for the last ten years, but I'll be moving to Las Vegas for the summer and arrive around June first. I just thought that I'd say hi and check out the group you guys (and gals too?) have out there. Let me know what's fun to do and where to go. I've been out there a few times, but never much off the strip and not with anyone who knows anything about the area.

Also, I'm still looking for a relatively inexpensive short term lease on a furnished apartment or something that can be rented month to month. I'd like to do a little better than the Budget Suites which is the only lead that I have right now. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I'm not moving permanently, so it needs to be something furnished, preferably utilities included. I'd like to live west or nothwest of the strip, but can be flexible for the right place.

I told her. She said that she won't be moving very much stuff, but will let me know if she changes her mind. Her boyfriend and her are each bringing a couple of suitcases. Thats why they need an already furnished place for now.

I appreciate the welcome. Thanks for the offer of moving help, but as Ro_Ja Boy said, we're not moving more than can fit in an S2000. Kind of limited options given the cargo space.

The Si is being sold later this month, so the S200 Is the only car traveling out west. The del Sol is going directly to GA.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and am hoping to love Las Vegas. Who knows, if we like it enough maybe we'll stay.

What ever you do .... dont stay at Budget Suites ... unless you into Hooker's and Meth Lab's !!!
