hey my maintainence required light is blinking at me. and i already changed my oil myself. the light blinking is that only for oil changes or can it be something else wrong with my car? please get back to me ASAP

the light wasnt on in the first place when i did change my oil a few weeks ago. am i suppose to still reset it?

so causeing the light to be on is basically the oil? nothing else?

I believe that the Maintenance Required light comes on every 7500 miles. As long as you are up to date on your maintenance, just reset it and be on your way.

To reset: Insert key in the ignition but do NOT turn on
Push and hold trip button
Turn key ALL the way ON without letting go of the trip button
Hold til gone.

Actually, I think it starts blinking at 6k and comes on without blinking at 7500
