Yep, the guy in the Sentra and I ended up just about kissing bumpers 
Anyway, when we do the track events there are always 3 classes so if you don't have that much (or any) experience, you'll be placed into the appropriate group and there are also intructors available to show you the proper line and technique etc.
Speed Ventures is running a whole lot of events this year, including 8! days at the Streets of Willow Springs, which is a great track for beginners and only about 3 hours from here. I'll try to do a better job of keeping everyone here posted on the schedule
OK, now that this thread has been hijacked into oblivion, I'm actually going to go make some coffee and bang away at the badge today.
