just wanted to vent!!!!
Wed. night my dad suffered a massive heart attack. i was on my way to my parents house and got a called from my dad telling me to hurry, that he thinks he's having a heart attack. So, i just punched it, i was doing like 80mph on charleston!! The ambulance and firetruck arrived about 3 min after i did. My dad was laying face down on the bed, telling my mom and i that he loved us, basically saying his goodbyes! The ambulance rushed him to the hospital and took him into surgery. The doctor said, my dad was like 20 min away from dying.
Anyways, my mom is thai and she doesn't speak very good english, and my sister's live out of state, one in michigan, and one in north carolina, so i've been making phone calls, talking to the doctors, picking my mom up and taking her to the hospital, then bringing her home. I'm just soooo exhausted!!!!!
Anyways, my dad is now off of the IV's and is walking around, hopefully he'll be home in a few days.
Well, i just wanted to vent for a little bit.

i plan on taking a cpr class, my wife know's it already. i'm not sure what cardiac catherization is....they took him in to the cath lab, and took a tube or something, and went in from his groin area all the way to the heart and shot some type of dye to see what was blocked, then they unblocked the artery and used sometime of spacer (i forgot what the doc called it). I'm just glad they didn't have to open him up.
