Default JGTC EXTREMELY unsafe S2000

Some dude had his S2000 sitting out in the vendor section... he had a cusco rollcage in the thing...

so, I had to take some pictures of the insanely unsafe rollcage:

Yes, guess what... that's the passenger seat and the bar RUBS AGAINST IT!

to top it off, it's not even padded. Believe me, I would never ride in that thing.

He's removed the convertible, possibly with some hopes of actually racing it. Yet, that rear support bar for the main hoop looks unsafe. the rear supports shouldn't have a bend in it.
The CRX in the background was alright (minus the siR) badge. Pretty clean.

yup, unpadded.

scary.

You must've missed the countless disscussions we've had about that setup already It's Crushco not Cusco!

I know I've been preaching for months now on the 240 boards about how the cusco/safety21 cage is like asking for death.

The response is always "well, the D1 Drift cars can use it". Uhhh, Cusco sponsors D1, so of course, safety standards are compromised to please the sponsor. Sure sounds like it's a real motorsport to me :-x

That's the standard Cusco/Safety 21 cage sold for the S2000. Which particular car it was makes no difference.

Now you've gotta run on the streets with a helmet!
