How to kill cones 101
Pics from Sb00ya.com
Ingredients:
1 300ZX
1 Big Ball Bearing Turbo
2 Crazy Drivers
4 Hoosiers in Autocross Compound which are very easy to overheat between the 2 drivers and a heavy car.
Add 1 tight corner at an autocross and follow directions
Autocrossing Mark's 300Z on Sunday (7 runs)...
Try to squeeze extra .1 out of the run by staying on the gas in the straight and enter tight corner way too hot. Then trail brake to slow the car down and get it to rotate...
Trail brake too much, transfer weight to front, and let Hoosiers lose traction sending the rear of the car into the cones....
Realize there is no way the run is being saved, put foot on brake to get car stopped, and put foot on clutch to keep the car running...
Wait for car to stop, pull into grid, and wait for next run...
Next run try not to make the same mistake...
Autocrossing the Blue car (I think I'm going to name it Crystal) on Sat (13 runs!)...
