Whats up bro? What kind of headunit did you get? Im looking to see what kind I want to get once I get one. Is it one that retains the dash controls?

If you want to retain the dash controls with most (any?) aftermarket units, you need to buy an interface board.

What's that you say? Where can I get such a beast? Funny you should ask

For my sub and amp installation I went to Audio Express on Sunset ( just after Sandhill). I am going to let them install my head unit as well.

They installed my whole system when I had my Civic. Let me tell you...i understand why they are the "home of the $1 installation." You get what you pay for. I was in there about once a month getting everything fixed.

Most of the people at the stereo shops dont know what they are doing or have any clue about the products they sell.

Installing the head unit is pretty easy, have you thought about trying it yourself? The OEM cd player only takes a couple minutes to take out and then just go to Circuit City and buy a wiring harness and match up the wires. It's actually pretty simple. Installing the dash controll thing I haven't tried, so I don't know how difficult it is.
