HP+'s make a ton of noise on the s2k too, both JP and I have run them on the street, rudy just finished my old ones off at the last porsche day, and Jose had them on his car but took them off due to the noise on the street. Also those cobalts you had were the old formula GT-Sports. They worked great felt great, and lasted forever. Many people on the board have said the newer formula isn't anywhere near as good.

I personally went back to OEMs for the street. They last a long time, they are quiet, and have more than enough stopping power and fade resistance for some spirited driving.

For rotors I've ran OEM, Centric Premium (from Meyers), and C-teks (from Carbotech) they all work the same

Also for those of you looking into drilled rotors do not run them on the track. Most of the cheap drilled ones crack really fast. Rudy has the slotted ones on his car right now and can tell you they aren't worth the price you pay for them compared to any of the cheaper blanks you can get.

i'm looking for some rotors and pads myself... im looking into getting some regular slotted and cross drilled rotors with hawk hps pads...anyone have any experience with this set up?
I have the Hawk HPS and Powerslot rotors w/braided lines. I like this setup. The initial bite isn't as touchy as the OEM cold, but they work great. I also have the same setup on my Subaru.
