Default Brake Rotors/Pads

First, I didn't do a search... sorry.

Second... do we have a shop or person who can get deals on brake rotors and pads?

I bought my pads from HandAAccessories.com and I bought my rotors from Carbotech (dirt cheap, but shipping is a B**ch). Karim was telling that you can get Napa rotors at Meyers (also dirt cheap but were on back order the last time I checked).

P.S. I have my old rotors just sitting in my garage if anyone wants them. (The front are toast but the rears are still good) BTW they're free just taking up space in the garage.

i read that the oem brake pads arent that great in car and driver. they say the hardware is great but the pads arent really that great. i always thought the brakes were good but i do notice a little fade. i got ebc green stuff but i havent put them on yet and i got a set for the front for like around 70 bucks

depends on your use. i think majority of the people (including track junkies) here in S2ki prefer the OEM pads for regular to occasional hard driving use.

got it thanks...

the pads i have are autozone specials (duralast golds). I didn't expect them to be stellar...

I actually love the brake feel and response of the cobalts .... too bad they make so much fning noise.

Ideally, I'd like some brembo blanks with Hawk HP+... but the brembos are like $220 shipped from tirerack.
