Obama's reaction to the situation in Iran is pretty timid. I think people on this board use stronger language to complain about the selling rules than Obama has used to condemn the killing of peaceful protestors.

North Korea? I don't think Obama will do anything except complain to the UN (see Steve's WHO health rankings if you want a good idea of what the UN thinks of the USA) and ask China to control their pit bull.

I think Kim Jong Il is banking on that and will see how much he can get away with. Maybe we will be forced to retaliate at some point.

1) palin is idiot
2) the GOP ruined this country
sadly i have to agree with #1 but she is hawt!

the #2 really does not matter as either party in power would always get blamed for whatever condition the country ends in

Thank you!

And Clinton may have left a surplus but I can tell you first hand that it was at the expense of our military. I served during his years and we were under manned and under equipped. I am sure Ryan will say the same.

I can only imagine that he pared our intelligence system too leading to the tragedy on 9/11. Couple that with the FACT that Clinton was offered Osama on a platter for extradition in the 90's and I can squarely count him as a primary blame for the THOUSANDS of American deaths.

You can't cut the military and hope for the best. Who will protect all the welfare rats living off the system here? Some people say make criminals join the service. I say F NO! I don't want them out on the same front as me. I want to be with men who WANT to be there and give a shit.

F Clinton, F welfare and F anyone that lives off the system that I pay for.

So what would you do if they threatened to take their nuclear power plant technology and refine weapons-grade fuel? Just say "Hey, stop doing that?"

Oh, wait... who's threatening that now?

Back on topic, I'm obviously not a big fan of taxing health benefits as income. In the past, the government tried to persuade companies to provide health benefits for employees by making it non taxable compensation.

Basically, I (and anyone like myself with a job and benefits) are going to pay more in taxes and receive nothing or possibly less in return.

The last I heard the tax on employer-paid health insurance plans only affected plans with really high premiums, the gold-plated plans. Did that change?
