John, couldn't you educate them with your extending stick?
have nudge bars(as per usa) and gently push to the hard shoulder?
taser them?
do them for obstruction?
or let us do it as deputies.?

I really hate these morons.

One for me to look into I think.
Could be right. I'm sure that's why a lot of cyclists turn into mentalists.

Although it could be that they receive the thick end of even more moronic driving by stupid bastards than even Porsche drivers have to suffer.

John can you do me a favour and slap the next driver you come across that calls it the fast lane - personal pet hate of mine.

Thank You!
Proper car lane.

As opposed to the shed lane.

And sheds cannot overtake anything.

I had a heated discussion with someone at work who was rear ended (no - not Lloyd before someone says it!).

He was explaining to me that he had pulled out of the slow lane into the fast lane and didn't see the other car.

He wouldn't have it that the speed limit was the same for all three lanes.

God and I give these people cars to drive round in

Not too long back there were some 'middle lane' message on the
overhead signs (M1/M62 area) round here. Cant recall the wording.

Maybe in the centre of a roundabout a 'please use your f*****g
indicators as it helps me flow into the roundabout' sign could be
made mandatory.

Russ.

I've seen prosecutions for people 'driving too slowly'

although that's not the actual offence

how does that square (John) with the difficulty in prosecution you describe?

If you want to do something 'different' which could come under WDC then you can do it ..... but would invariably have to speak to your casework unit to get it through.

It is up to the individual - if they do enough other stuff they can try putting a 'book' in for all manner of strange offences and see where it goes. If something is really deserving you need to make a phone call and follow it up with an email or two to ensure action.

My understanding is that with anything other than 'ticket' offences they obviously have to send out a summons - and they only have a certain allocation of court time per month .... accordingly only a certain amount of summonses can be issued per month. If they use that up on more 'obscure' offences they can run out of court space / allocation for more serious stuff and people may get away with more serious matters than 'going too slowly'.

The situation can seem at times a complete joke ..... no surprise there then

Basically tickets are counted by the Home Office - Process (such as WDC) is not .....
