Default Guiness002..should I change my forum name?

Well I've been given some hassle (because of my Alleged similarity to a famous and wacky chef) to change my forum name…so should I fold to peer pressure to change my profile name to Heston…or something similar? Although my licence plate ends in ‘KTU’ so any suggestions for ‘TU’ I could consider also….and let the urine extraction commence

You're quite right Andy, whatever I change it to will draw the usual jovial comments...it goes with the territory

Can't you think of an original post title Rob?!!

Heston would work, but there are a few people I think you look like more.... (what a mystery!)

Change it, I say - Guiness never made any sense to me anyway!

So what would you recommend as the post title? 'should lollypop ladies be armed with hand guns'

The title says what I want it to say.....bless your cottons

I think that you should change your username as it has a typo, that missing 'n' has always made me feel uneasy, you know what I'm like. Know that the name has a special significance for you though.

Heston would work, we've all had fun with that.

Regarding TU I immediately thought of Ton Up as you are quick, but that is a biking term.

Transport Ubermeister?

Like it MQ Although 'Guiness' isn't a typo, I specifically spelt it that way to avoid infringing on copywrite laws

However 'Heston' is like an STI...its growing on me

Heston isn't really descriptive enough mate. A quick search on Google will bring up the (slightly deranged) Charlton Heston, and a motorway service station on the M4 (between J2 and J3 for info ) and a soul/pop/house band on myspace, as well as your celebrity double.

Why not have a play on the whole name and/or other stuff associated with him? For example 'Blumental', 'Fat Duck' or 'BaconIceCream'. You could always go with 'Can't Cook' or 'noimnot feckingheston' or even 'AinsleyHarriett'

Maybe explore other areas of your life as well. Maybe 'more medals than you', 'Attennnnnnsshhhuuuunnn!', 'sparesRus', 'BalloonBoy or even 'Hot Air'.

For me though, keep Guiness002, it's what we all know and love (in a bloke-like non civil partnership kinda way, you understand ) you as.

Changing user names is dangerous.
A mate on another forum changes his, it was months before I realised that it was the same person.
I was in a pub at a forum meet waiting to meet ‘bloke with new user name’ while sitting with my mate.
When he asked why I kept looking at people walking through the door and I told him I was looking for ‘new user name’ that the penny dropped.
