Default Stock simulation?

Been a member on here for almost a year, but never really "stepped foot" in this forum until about a month or so, just lurking. Well I have been reading the many advice given from everybody on here and would like to see what all the fuss is about in stock trading

I have the bare minimum knowledge about stock trading and honestly some of the jargons being used is a complete foreign language to me. With that being said, I do plan on going out and buying the book suggested by CTHREE, written by Jim Cramer and maybe that could help me out.

Is there any good websites out there that offer a realistic stock trading simulations? Since I am new at it and do not even know how to trade or even buy a stock, I think this would be best, but don't know there is even such thing.

I am very conservative type of person, but am still young so I would like to see what I can do with the stock market. I am not trying to become a millionaire through stock trading, although if I can why not . I figured that I am online so often, why not learn something and possibly make a few bucks.

If you know of any sites, please let me know! I would greatly appreciate it.

George

I have more portfolios than I know what to do with.

I practice short term trading at wallstreetsurvivor.com and usually finish the game in the top 1000 players, right now I'm at 2,000th place and pretty pissed about it.

I also played at beatthestreetgame.com.

There entire systems are severely delayed compared to what you'd expect from a real broker but since there are real cash prizes they have to make it fair for everyone.
