Yea my roomie works for Freddie and he says the employees that been there forever are pissed since they remember when they were buying the stocks in the $60 range. But i figure the stock cant go much lower than its .76 cents and since i dont own any stock i was thinking about throwing $400 dollars into the stock and wait/hope years from now that stock goes up.

What makes you think that housing will flatten out or increase in price?
I am a bear on housing........and I cannot see where the demand is going to come from with current house prices being where they are at.
I could see an argument for lower oil....as the economy is going into a recession. I can see an argument there.....but housing stabilizing?

I'm sure this will be considered yet another of my stupid questions, but hopefully no flaming. I know several people have given strong views that the MON,POT, MOS play is over and prices would certainly indicate that. So my questions -- why are the analysts still showing these as strong buys after they've fallen up to 40% (this isn't new -- they had them at strong buys at their peaks also and just never changed it) and secondly, why have they fallen so fair -- people still have to have the chemicals to grow food for consumption, for livestock and to produce whatever is going into ethanol. Despite a recession, people do still eat. Obviously I'm miss something obvious that is going to embarrass me, but any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
