This sort of nonsense happened last year just before labor day too just before a huge rally, not that it will happen again just that it's not a good gauge of anything.

AAPL is a screaming buy ahead of earnings. $170 is dirt cheap. I bought 5 more Oct 200's for $1.43.

Take advantage of Dell's implosion to stock up on tech stocks that don't suck for low, low prices.

AAPL consistently avoids my price target by at least 5$ no matter what. We'll see how things are looking towards the end of the day then i'll make my decision.

I got stopped out this morning at around 124. Won't be buying it again until it goes under 110.
I bought some at 117, I'll buy one more time if it goes under 110, then I'll wait. The risk vs rewards is 90-160 as the extremes, ignoring the time it crossed 200. Then all you have to do is determine the probabilities associated with each extreme. There is still 400-500 billion that are going to come out of insurers and other financial institutions, the writing is already on the wall it's just a matter of time.

Since their 3Q earnings release was July 21, one would assume the 4Q would be released approx 3 months later or Oct 21.

Erik, you show remarkable restraint when constantly being asked questions that people should be able to look up for themselves.

Waiting for AAPL to come into the 165 and I'll start another position in it again.

Tip:

If you want an easy way to "calander" the earnings for your stocks, setup a portfolio on google.com and when you log in, it will automatically have the news for your stocks plus any earnings, conference calls, and other activities easily laid out months ahead.
