I understand the correction of 2008... But they're calling this a "correction" and not a sell-off based on recent news of the credit rating, and the shitty markets in Europe. So... what's this "correction" supposedly about?

The collapse of the American empire. Should've happened in '08, but the Fed intervened by sending out the helicopters dropping free money, kicking the can down the road. Unfortunately, it's game over.
I've little doubt they'll continue down the same disastrous road. QE3, and on...and on. Dow 40K, loaf of bread $20 here we come! Go Ben!

Check out Seagate (STX) which is extremely volatile but just corrected 20% in a few days.
Might pop again...right now @ $29.xx/sh.
I'm in at $27/sh and might pick up more tomorrow...
