Pump and Dump?
What do you all think, get out on 12/17 before holiday break? or do we go higher after the new year?

Late November through February are traditionally good for nice rally in stocks.(Although 2009 had an awful end-of-February because of a confluence of a number of one-time economic and political events...)

I do a little of everything. In my 'retail' account I have all individual stocks (10-20 usually). In tax deferred accounts I have primarily index funds and a smaller allocation of fixed income securities (actual securities, not funds). Not a huge fan of mutual funds although I understand their purpose.

I can't recall any year in the past 15 where a strategy of dumping all of your stocks before the end of the year would have worked out in your favor. (2001, maybe??)
