Not that it matters 'cause it was play money.
But a year ago I invested $100k, most of it in to these three stocks:
Ford (F) ~$50k
Allegheny Technologies (ATI) ~$30k
Caterpillar (CAT) ~$10k
YTD, I'm +101% on F, +45% on ATI, and +55% on CAT.

To the Apple posts...
You would be crazy to sell off Apple now IMHO. They have become the second largest company in the world, and have JUST NOW caught up to their iphone orders. Apple is a juggernaut that is unstoppable...at least in the near future. Apple has no competitors. People just don't care. It doesnt matter that there are other tablets, other music players, and other laptops. People want an Ipad, an Ipod, an Iphone, and a Macbook.
Mac is the new "tylenol." Car manufacturers are developing their GUIs to SPECIFICALLY work with iphones and ipods. Hundreds of companies are making products to work with Apple's products. Apple makes more money in the appstore alone than most companies make annually. The most profitable retail store in the world is Apple 5th ave NYC, at 400 million a year+++. If the white Iphone comes out christmas, they will be at $400 shortly after the new year.

bought 5000 shares of ford at 4.81 awhile back. earnings are tomorrow and the stock is up $.20 in after hours tonight. when is it time to get out of this run. Or is the stock going to see 16+$

The mobile/embedded chip designers ARMH and MIPS have also been really hot recently. I think MIPS in particular has a lot of room to the upside as they are just starting getting into smart phone CPUs now.

Why not ride it out.. and see if it drops a steady 1-2% for a couple days, sell half, and ride out the other half.
Take some $$ while you've made it
