I just wanted to dump it, after the merger news this morning I figured it wasn't going up anytime soon from there. ADG hasn't been doing well lately (other than the sale).
We'll see tomorrow (and the coming few weeks) if I was wise in my deal or should have waited..

Oh well profit is profit..

I bought some stuff. I don't think the world is coming to an end, but I had some cash so I took the plunge.

MT, NUE, CSCO.

When it looks like the world is coming to an end, it usually isn't. And if it is, we are all screwed anyway.

Not I. I sold nearly everything into bonds/fixed income stuff a few weeks ago, and while it's low enough to justify buying (the whole buy low/sell high thing) I think there's a bit more things have to fall.

I've been in the same boat thus far this week as Elistan, things are low right now and I've been wanting to jump in but personally I too feel things aren't done tanking yet.

No Tesla, but BP for sure. I keep looking at Citi but I'm not sure just how long its going to wallow at $3/sh.

I need a market drop so I can get back into Apple.

Last Wednesday I was at the Orange County CFA Society's Mid-Year Economic Forecast dinner. The speaker was Rob Arnott. He said he'd been on CNN or something recently when they asked him what stocks he'd recommend. He said that he doesn't generally follow individual securities, but they pressed. His suggestion: long BP, short Apple.
