Market price doesn't reflect business reality anymore.
You got a problem with that?

my question is, does anybody have any foreign (primarily) corporations that are low risk and offer a decent dividend? maybe like a jnj, mo, hnz equivalent that is euro or asian or even south american?

I put in a bid for 20 GE Jan '11 $25 calls @ $0.42 on speculation. I think GE is undervalued by 40% or more. They have a huge electrical generation and wind turbine business which I think is going to see steady growth. Dumping NBC/Universal is a huge in my view. They shouldn't be in that business.

Got out of APPL at 188. I've been sitting on that money since early November trying to figure out where to put it to work.
I'm thinking I'll add to positions in BHP, CVX, DEO, and GE. Maybe pick up a couple of others that pay decent dividends. I don't see the market moving sharply in either direction for a while.
Taken a beating on VLKAY. I still think it's a good long term play but the merger with Porsche didn't please anyone.
