anyone here agree that right now is the once a quarter buying oppurtunity? i am thinking about cashing out some vacation days to free up some cash, considering flight prices are so incredibly high right now, i dont see myself going anywhere. so many stocks are hitting 52 week lows!!! this is crazy.

The indices don't seem to be down as far as one (I) would think looking at the big red numbers on individual stocks. Obviously there must be some things that are up to offset my watch list of losers. Sorry, I'm working and don't have access to a tv or ticker -- so what's up big today?

Financials are mostly positive, some more than others.

Oil just shot to almost $144/bbl and the EUR/USD fell to 1.59!

The ADP report reflects my fears of the employment numbers tomorrow. A loss of 79,000 jobs in June is far more than expected.

I am going to take a shot in the dark and put the unemployment rate at 5.8%.

Yeah, what a jump oil just took. I wonder if we'll see $150 tomorrow.

If the oil price is not in large part due to speculation, then why are the energy related stocks not seeing positive moves as well?

What about X? It's dropped 23 dollars or 13%... Big drop came out of no where.

For all the ATVI holders on this board, what do you guys think of the 5% drop today even though its nothing but good news... do you think its manipulation to drop the price down to 27ish for the merger?
