Does anyone else have an inkling that part of the $2 trillion has been used for equity market manipulation?

part of it has been used to pay dividends and purchase other companies, that's for sure. I personally would like to know where the money is because it's sure not making out to consumers. Prime car loans have only a 6% funding rate compared to 95% a year ago. Commercial credit spreads are over 20%. You would think that $2T would amount to more than a drop in the bucket.

How much money is needed exactly before the bucket is full and it starts to spill over? If the banks can absorb $2T, and that's just in the US, when they have written down, what, $700B? there is $1.3T on balance sheets that wasn't there a year ago. Just how far down the rabbit hole did the banks go that they didn't tell us about?

I know the banks were paid out equally, so if bank X needed $100B then a bunch of other banks also got $100B just to cover up who needed the money even if they didn't need it. So what did they do with this money they didn't need?

One of them just did an acquisition in Fort Worth. 300m cap bank received 100m in tarp funds no questions asked. It's supposedly becoming common place in some areas.

They are probably all buying tbills.

ATVI has been dead money even with the market picking up lately. Any thoughts on this? I still have a great long term projection for this company and would like to get a small position started.

MO is getting beat up like no other lately also.

Fed funds rate at 0%

The Fed is now the market. They are going to do everything possible to stem a further slide.

Wells Fargo cut their prime rate to 3.5%

Yeah, I'm interested again.

I'm looking at insurance, finance, infrastructure, basic materials, fertilizer and agriculture.

I think it's time to do some selective buying of smaller caps. I still don't like the large caps, too much debt.

Who thinks POT is on its way back up?? I wanted to get in when it was in the low 60's but was still scared to pull the trigger... now I may have missed the best opportunity to buy. But still wondering if its worth it at this point. Still a good price comparatively speaking but no clue how it'll play long.
