It is official, the market no longer cares about bad news. Based upon that there is a high likelyhood that the market may have bottomed last month.

That statement assumes we don't tumble several hundred points in the final hour.
I agree with you now. I think that the DOW going to approx 7400 was the bottom. I will cover my shorts next week. I still want to see and observe this for a couple of days.

I think the market could be rallying on these expected events over the next couple months:

-Automaker bailout
-Mortgage rate intervention
-Massive Obama stimulus package ($1 trillion isn't out of the question)
-Fed funds rate cut to 0.50-0.25%
-Continued liquidity injections
-More bailouts as necessary

All I care about is that, it's about time for the market to do some rallying for all of us.

I'll humbly admit that this market is too difficult for me right now. I haven't made any moves and have stayed largely cash except for long term plays lately. Everytime I've wanted to go short and expecting the market to tank, it has rallied up strong. Everytime I've wanted to go long because I felt it was oversold, it only went further down. Cash I shall stay...

I'm just adding more position into my stock portfolio to average down the cost.
