The largest white board in my office is covered with hand-drawn charts, bets with a bunch of coworkers over the basic shape of tomorrow's DJIA. Pretty funny because a dart throwing monkey would do as well as any of us! We're still in a period of ugly volatility but, again sort of funny, not really low volume (that end of day spike is a killer).

It is official, the market no longer cares about bad news. Based upon that there is a high likelyhood that the market may have bottomed last month.

That statement assumes we don't tumble several hundred points in the final hour.

You misintrepret the evidence.

The market cares deeply about bad news. There is simply no longer any bad news. Henceforth, all news is good, or, at least, neutral; in short, nonbad.

so it is official, i dont understand this market anymore. somehow we are up with all the negative news. bout to throw in the towel.
