Bought SDS at 90 before the close, was very fortunate to get 1k points with almost no hedges on since I didn't get any shares short with VNO and IYR on the open twice.
If you guys want to see something nuts, check out the daily chart of XTO later in the day. There was a repeater that dumped 100k+ shares that made the stock look like that.

I stopped out of my S&P e-mini short. The black news on Black Friday is sure to inject some reality back into the market. I don't normally recommend using stops but with volatility the way it is they are a must. I think I've missed the boat on this coming down turn but it won't be the last.

I just spent a couple hours going over sell points. Going from 85% long 7.5% short 7.5% cash to 66/17/17 as we go higher up. I'm up 20% net in the past 5 trading days, it won't stay that way without significant reallocations.

For black friday, all the news reports online I've seen have reported weak sales (2005 figures).
Personally, it wasn't as crazy as it used to be and the sales weren't that spectacular. I actually only just bought a pair of shoes. I'm waiting for the day after new years mad house.

next week looks like "fun".
