We broke the trend around 2:50 and I got crushed. I was shorting CNX from a great entry of 26.48 and was adding size when we spiked up. I was also short POT at 59 and couldn't get out of all my shares until almost 50 cents up. There goes all my gains from last week, ouch.

This is torturing me. I have a chunk of cash just sitting in my brokerage account. I want to do something with it. But I don't know what. And it scares me that this is just another false rally before we fall off a cliff again after Christmas...

Don't buy anything above the october lows IMO. I'm itching to sell. I posted up my portfolio a few pages back. You can sort through those and personally I am not buying again unless we test lows. Anything else is worse than gambling IMO.

I'm too hesitant to buy, especially on a day like today. There is absolutely no rational reason for the market to be up. This is no turnaround like people are making it out to be. I have a feeling January is going to be a colder month than usual...
