AZ, which figures are you referring to? The job figures are extremely transparent, there is no "skewing". The skewing some speak of (myself included) is because they have "given" numbers like every month they assume 50k construction jobs are added because it's the norm and too hard to calculate at each interval. They are revised based on gaining additional information which is part of the regular process. What evidence do you have that you are being mislead?

I am referring to the actual calculation, sampling, and overall what goes into the figures that are released. The released numbers may be transparent but I don't think they paint an accurate picture.

I will go into this more later on... have to run right now.

You have grounds on the actual calculation to raise an eyebrow. The construction jobs figure is a good demonstration of why the calculation could be second guessed.

Intel announced a massive decrease in their revenue forecast for the quarter in AH.

Index futures trading down between 1-2%

Sounds good to me. Maybe EEV will finally move. Something is going on though, it was up 15% today and is already up another 10% in AH. My cost basis is 90 and I haven't sold a damn share yet and I'm not going to until it's higher.

I'm getting some great stocks cheap right now. A little riskier but I picked some FCX going into the close to start that position, wanted it under 25. Will buy more BP if it hits 40. Tons of good deals out there.

The Dow will be testing the 7800-9800 mark for a longtime I believe. We won't break through the 9800 until we get some really good news. I'm guessing that we might break through the 10,000 mark middle of next year.

BTW what is everyone's YDT loses? I'm down 26.5%
